Jill Wener
Dr. Jill Wener is a coach and consultant specializing in trauma-informed healing, empowerment, and advocacy. As an entrepreneur and business owner, she teaches EFT/tapping and meditation and provides anti-racism education and consulting. Nationally renowned as an expert in physician wellness, Dr. Wener has led wellness programs nationwide and lectured on anti-racism, trauma, stress, and the benefits of tapping and meditation. She has been featured on multiple TV shows, radio shows, and podcasts, as well as a podcast host and best-selling author with several articles published on KevinMD.
Her personal and professional experiences, education, and commitment to racial and social justice inform Dr. Wener’s approach. She believes in a trauma-informed approach to every session and workshop, providing a safe, judgment-free space for individuals and groups to make meaningful progress in their lives. Dr. Wener emphasizes the importance of embracing the fullness of emotions and rejecting toxic perfectionist wellness mindsets.
Dr. Wener attended Emory University School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington, and practiced academic hospital medicine at Rush University Medical Center for 10 years. She has worked with clients such as Georgia Aquarium, ChenMed, Hartford Hospital, Emory University, and Yale University. She is also the host of the Conscious Anti-Racism podcast.
Dr. Wener holds numerous certifications and licenses, including a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma School of Business, Vedic Meditation Teacher Certification, and Trauma-Informed Professional Coach Certification.
